Italian family took home an animal that they could hold in their hands. But soon, it got out of hand.

After taking pity on the wild piglet, which was miniature sized when they found it, the couple decided to adopt it. -

Pasqualina has free reign of the entire household, sleeping in either of the two large bedrooms at night. -

Despite the two-year-old boar being an unconventional choice of pet, the couple claim that she is fully domesticated and has lots of dog-like qualities. -

She is able to walk up and down the stairs without assistance and often climbs up onto the furniture. -

House-trained Pasqualina relaxes on the sofa with Doriana and Raffaele, eating dinner with the family and indulging in strawberry yogurts. -

The loving boar has become particularly taken with 71-year-old Raffaele, frequently snuggling up and nuzzling him with her snout. Doriana commented: “She loves cuddling, she likes physical contact, she communicates a lot with us, she is very affectionate and we are like her parents.” -

The Italian couple are delighted with the new addition to their family, which is also made up of eleven cats, and a few dogs, donkeys, and chickens. -

Is this cute or insane? One thing's for sure, it never gets boaring with the giant, yogurt-eating Pasqualina.
